In this course, you'll learn how to create filtered and fixed asset selection sets on the fly from within a report, and how to save and manage them centrally when reuse makes sense. You'll also explore the differences between Basic and Advanced Mode filter logic, so you know how to set filter conditions. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Build ad hoc selection sets in the moment directly from a report.
  • Explain the difference between filtered and fixed asset selection.
  • Apply existing saved selection sets within report parameters and edit them on the fly to refine criteria as needed.
  • Create and save filtered selection sets in Basic Mode using ownership scope, asset property filters, or both.
  • Use Advanced Mode to apply more complex logic, including OR conditions and filter groups.
  • Manage saved selection sets centrally from the Asset Selection Set List page.
